Amon was in fact a water-bender named Noatak who was trained by his father, Yakone, to be a bloodbender. Yakone wished to pass this technique along to Noatak in order to get revenge on Aang for taking away his bending.Sep 11, 2020
You can’t easily bloodbend someone that doesn’t have many fluids to bend. Amon is an energybender – This theory originated from Amon’s abilities to take away bending, even though it was previously believed that only the Avatar had this bending ability.
The “villain,” Amon, is introduced as the leader of an organization of radical revolutionaries, the Equalists. Deemed to achieve equality amongst benders and non-benders, Amon uses his power, said to be bestowed upon by the spirits, to rid bending in benders, especially those who abuse their power.
Energybending was used by both Avatar Aang and Avatar Korra to both remove and restore bending, but the way in which Amon was able to take this away was by using blood bending. He does this by blocking the chakra in their body and he seems to have created this technique on his own.
Amon, born as Noatak, is one of the four main antagonists of The Legend of Korra (alongside Unalaq, Zaheer and Kuvira), the sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender. He serves as the main antagonist of Book One: Air and as a posthumous antagonist for the remainder of the series.
Hama was the first known waterbender that bloodbent in either series, the second was Katara in Book Three, and the other three were Amon, Tarrlok, and Yakone in The Legend of Korra. The puppets that Sokka found when he was snooping around Hama’s inn were made by her to look like her prisoners.
A brief summary is given on what happened to Korra and Republic City after the show ended. Jimu, the Avatar after Korra, comes out of hiding after 4 years and realizes how much destruction Shi has caused.
While the series finished in 2014, the adventures of Korra and Asami didn’t end there. DiMartino continued Korra’s story in comic book form, with two new arcs published via Dark Horse Comics. Not only do they extend the narrative of The Legend of Korra, but they show Korra and Asami as a full-fledged couple.Aug 19, 2020
Amon created a way to take away a bender’s bending by disrupting the chi flowing through their body, and this is likely thanks to his knowledge of chi blocking, as well as his bloodbending. … Eventually, Korra learned how to undo what Amon did to her and the other benders thanks to her past lives.
When this was discovered, Team Avatar freed the airbenders, leading the queen to label the team as wanted criminals throughout her kingdom. She was assassinated in 171 AG by Zaheer during the insurrection of the Red Lotus, resulting in the collapse of the Earth Kingdom.
Amon is the mysterious leader of the underground Equalist revolution and is the main antagonist of Book 1: Air. He wears a mask to conceal his face, burned by a group of firebenders (or so he claims). He is a nimble, stealthy fighter who shows no fear even against the highest-level bender.
The series ran a bit on network television but because the show dealt with some stuff that was much more mature than what was normally allowed for the anticipated target audience on Nickelodeon (terrorism, extremism, fanaticism, destabilzatiot of a government, same sex relationships) it was taken off air.

Hama is considered to be the first bloodbender in Avatar: The Last Airbender’s history, but a theory suggests that there was another one before her. Bloodbending is one of the most powerful forms of bending in Avatar: The Last Airbender, and it’s possible that Hama wasn’t the first bloodbender in the world.
Lightning bending is one of the strongest abilities in Avatar: The Last Airbender, with Azula’s lightning attack nearly killing Aang for good. It’s also one of the rarest techniques, with only Ozai, Iroh, and Azula able to generate lightning on their own. Even Aang, the avatar, and Zuko could only redirect lightning.
Aang doesn’t know how to bloodbend. For most waterbenders, bloodbending is something that can only be performed during the full moon, when a waterbender’s power is at its peak.
Katara would win. She is completely outranked at bloodbending, but her waterbending skills are stronger than amon and yakone. She would lose at bloodbending, but she knows how to break out of a bloodbending grip.
Only one twin would become the Avatar. His or her sibling would be a normal person (either a non-bender or a single element bender). This is because the Avatar spirit is a single entity that cannot be divided; it is a combination of the first Avatar’s human spirit and the Spirit Raava.
