Well, buying ships in No Man’s Sky is pretty simple, once you know how it works. You see, you can only buy a ship by walking up to it and speaking to its owner. You’ll be able to do so at trading Posts and Stations, as ships fly in and out and land on landing pads.Mar 25, 2021
After landing in the Trading post, you will have to wait for the game to start spawning different ships, eventually, you’ll see No man’s Sky S-Class ships. You can scan them in the air to find out. If none appear, just reload the game in that same spot!
To purchase a starship, players must visit trading posts, space stations, Minor Settlements, or other places where ships land. Ships can be scanned with the analysis visor to learn their quality, number of inventory slots (formatted as main inventory + tech inventory), and cost in units.
Land in station and talk to npcs until they point you to a trading post on a planet. Fly there, land, get out and save. Look at the ships there. If there’s no exotics, reload your save.
To get one, you just need to wait in a space station until one comes flying in and lands. They can be found in rich/affluent economies, and there’s generally one per system. No Man’s Sky Exotic Ships will set you back upwards of 15 million units, so you’ll need to get saving to get your hands on one.
There is always exactly one exotic ship model per system. Systems with an affluent economy rating have a higher exotic ship spawn rate than other systems but exotic ship spawn rates are still rare so expect a good number of reloads before you find one you want.
You can either purchase a ship via a trading post on a planet, in a space station, at a lone outpost, or in freighter hangers. If you’d prefer not to spend a ton of units, you an also find a crashed ship on a planet and take it upon yourself to repair it.
For Frigates, fly near them and you’ll gte hailed, and invite to come and inspect it. Fly up to the Frigate and you’ll be able to inspect it like you would a Starship, and decide if you want to add it to your fleet. It’s as simple as that!
You can only have one freighter. You can have like 30 frigates in your fleet. Those are managed from the bridge of your freighter next to the navigator’s station.
These beautiful, organic, slightly psychedelic ships are uniquely grown (and, as with everything in the No Man’s Sky universe, procedurally-generated). They can’t be upgraded in the same way as a traditional ship: each one is individually hatched, with a unique set of internal organs that determines its abilities.
This Mosquito-style Exotic S-Class ship already comes pre-loaded with the rocket launcher and efficient thrusters modules. It has an inventory cargo space of 20 slots, a tech slot space of six, and costs 12 million credits to buy outright.
Capital Freighters have 24-34 slots and a price range of 26.15M to 178M from C to S class.
The fleet can have a maximum of 30 frigates.
Simple answer: When you buy a new freighter, the frigates transfer to the new freighter. You will have to build a fleet command room in order to debrief those missions once they return. They will just be reassigned to your new freighter.
Yes you can. You can use save editor as much as you want to. You can give yourself whatever you want to including QS through the editor. There is no and will never be any kind of punishment for using the save editor in NMS.
Freighters. Freighters are kind of the odd one out. These are by far the largest ships available in No Man’s Sky. While you can normally only have one starship, a Freighter allows you to store multiple starships.
You can’t recover a crashed freighter, but you can repair containers by supplying the requested materials to receive rare elements.
Teleporters can now be built aboard Freighter Bases. These variants do not require power. They can be used to teleport to other teleporters, or to the Space Station.
