The patch updating Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain to Version 1.06 has just been released, and fans have found out you can now get Quiet back after losing her in Mission 45: A Quiet Exit. At the end of this mission Quiet would disappear into the desert, after which she was gone for good.
To recruit her you’ll have to make it to the end of Mission 11. Once you reach the ened of the mission, make sure you do not kill Quiet in the cut scene. If you kill her you’ll need to replay the mission and leave her alive. Now continue playing until you reach the end of Mission 14 and unlock Side Op 111: Visit Quiet.
All you need to do is replay mission 11, “Cloaked in Silence,” seven times. The name of that mission will change to “[Reunion] Cloaked in Silence,” and after completing it, Quiet will return to Mother Base with all of her researched weapons and items intact.
In case you’ve forgotten, Quiet unceremoniously departs from Mother Base after the completion of Mission 45 and is no longer available for deployment.
A. Did Quiet love Venom Snake, or respect him as a soldier? … So, by the end of the game (if you’ve done it right), you realise Quiet has a very strong bond with “Venom Snake”, going so far as to break her English-language vow of silence to save you.
Quiet is NOT Sniper Wolf, let’s get that out of the way. In Chapter 2, after warning “Venom Boss” about the snake, she goes off to die unless you add the butterfly to your logo, among other things. I submit that how you get Quiet back was a LAST MINUTE MECHANIC THROWN IN TO KEEP HER PLACE.
For those of you who don’t know, Quiet who is infected with a version of the vocal cord parasite similar to the one that caused an epidemic at mother base. … In Quiet’s case, it was English. So if she speaks English, she begins the spread of a terrible disease.
After completing Mission 45, You will lose track of Quiet and thus not be able to use her as buddy. However, with later patches it is now possible to bring her back to the Motherbase and further use her as a buddy.
The trick is to equip the Butterfly (front) design to your emblem prior to Mission 41. … Once you’ve unlocked the Butterfly design, equip it to the front of your emblem prior to Mission 41. Quiet will still depart, but you will have access to her after the fact.
Without getting too spoiler-y, she is not seen dying onscreen but based on what we know about Quiet’s backstory and weaknesses, it seemed like that was what happened in her final scene in the game. …
Overall Description. Mission 46 is treated as the true ending of MGSV. It’s quite peculiar as you will be told to repeat the prologue (0-Awakening). You are basically do the same things as on the first time and any changes appear only in some of the cutscenes.
Have 100% bond with Quiet as a Buddy. Take her out on a mission or Side Op. Stay in the field for five consecutive in-game days without returning to the ACC (use the Phantom Cigar to advance time quickly) Make sure there are a lot of flies buzzing around Snake’s head.
SLEEP/STUN GRENADES: Stun/Sleep Grenades are quite powerful items to use on Quiet (one successful attack cuts her blue bar in half) plus it will also count as non-firearm since they aren’t lethal.
Quiet’s (female) voice actress Stefanie Joosten addressed the issue on a later show, saying “Quiet is definitely a female, while Chico is a male.” That might be an issue of gender address and no one at Konami has outright denied the theory, but… well, we’d be surprised.
Unlike the Skulls unit of parasite-enhanced soldiers encountered through the game, Quiet retains an outwardly-human appearance. … The November 2015 release of the Version 1.06 update adds the ability to bring Quiet back in the game.

Just mark Quiet with your binoculars then call in a Supply Drop right on top of her location. A couple of these and she’ll be knocked out cold, making your task all the more easier. Once you have completed the mission and Quiet is incapacitated, you can purchase the outfit through the Mother Base menu.
Abilities & Powers. While Quiet was once a human soldier, she was later augmented with a parasite to give her enhanced abilities. Superhuman Strength: The Parasite in her has given her superhuman strength, which could easily throw a man several feet away with a shove.
User Info: STRYKR45. Mission 23 in the village (Bwala ya masa) you will find a blueprint titled FIRST AID MANUAL in a building. This will unlock DDs Fulton outfit.
Psycho Mantis as “Tretij Rebenok” in the Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain trailer.
The Refugee Rescue mission actually acts a secret way to banish the Demon Snake look FOREVER. Once the mission is completed, start another mission/Side Op or return to Mother Base and Snake’s appearance will revert automatically.
Why did quiet leave snake? Snake had to shoot his men on the quarantine platform because if they die, birds eat their corpses and spread the English vocal cord parasite. But at the end, Quiet leaves after her vocal cord parasites are activated. So when she dies in the desert, birds will eat her and spread the parasite.
Having worked through the majority of the game with Quiet you need to be aware that she does eventually leave and there is NO way to keep her besides using this hidden secret.
