Head north all the way past Moggy and Mogster and through the tall grass. You’ll emerge in an area where Quina is staring longingly at the frogs. Go ahead and catch a frog and give it to Quina.Mar 23, 2019
During Disc 1 of the game, Quina is an optional character. … If you do not recruit Quina then, s/he can be recruited in the same place during Disc 2, at which point having Quina join your party is a mandatory requirement of finding a way to get to the Outer Continent, and making progress through the game.
The Eat command is the ability required for obtaining new Blue Magic skills. Once Quina’s enemies drop to less than 25% health of their maximum hit points (HP), Quina can instantly defeat the enemy by eating it. If Quina successfully eats their enemy, a new skill will be learned.

four Qu’s Marshes
The Qu’s Marshes are the home of Qu, including Quina, and their master, Quale. They are exclusive to the world of Gaia in Final Fantasy IX. There are four Qu’s Marshes in Gaia: One on the Mist Continent, one on the Outer Continent, and two on the Forgotten Continent.
But I’ve always pronounced Quina’s name as “Kwain-ah Kwin.“
28 Years Old
4 She’s 28 Years Old The age of the characters isn’t that vital to Final Fantasy, but Final Fantasy IX details that Beatrix was born in April of 1772, which makes her 28 during the time of the game. Do not attack the Antlion, as this will make it counter with Counter Horn. Have Quina use White Wind whenever the Antlion uses Sandstorm to restore everyone’s HP. … With its amplified damage from Focus and the Antlion’s weakness to ice, it will fall easily.
While still inside Qu’s Marsh when you encounter a Gigan Toad get the enemies HP down below 25% then use the EAT command with Quina to learn the Blue Magic Frog Drop. Tips. It is best to always leave a male and a female behind. One should not catch the golden frog, unless wanting for it to respawn at a different marsh. One should not leave a group of frogs of the same gender alone with a single frog of the opposite gender.
It involves traveling to each of the Qu’s Marsh locations throughout Gaia with Quina in your party and catching frogs in the pond areas. Button rapidly. Each frog counts as one point and you can quit the game at any time by leaving the area.

You can find individual Chocographs by digging them up in the Chocobo’s Forest, the Chocobo’s Lagoon and the Chocobo’s Air Garden. More and more Chocographs become available as your Chocobo levels up and obtains more abilities (which they can also do by hunting and finding more Chocographs).
The Chocobo’s Paradise is located in the northwestern corner of the map in the middle of the ocean. Fly your Chocobo over to the island (which does not appear on the mini-map) and use a Dead Pepper on the crack in the mountain to gain entry.
